Ever since she was little, Ally's life has been invaded. Invaded by the undead. She lives with her mother and her brother, just trying to survive, hidden in the woods. Finally, things started turning out good, until one day, when her mother was told some surprising news. There will be a new addition to the family. The Officials insisted more protection since there was more invasions, or so they were told. But, Ally and her brother were furious. They thought they could defend their mother themselves. When Ally was 16, the "new addition" came. She thought he was going to be some huge macho guy who would treat her family horribly. But, she was wrong. It was a boy. His name was Austin. Ally hated him because he tore the family apart, and he had way too many secrets. But, Austin's one secret explained everything. Austin and Ally become even closer, and soon close enough for Austin to share his secret with her.
