"I'm scared," she whispered. It was the first words she said since I found her huddled down in the basement. "But, nothing's going to happen to you!" I assured her. Big sistering was hard. I hugged her in my arms. "I'm not scared for me," she whispered into my ear. I hugged her tighter. I asked, "Then what are you scared for?" She had these moments a lot.
