With a sharp intake of breath, Soojin closes her eyes as she lets her fingers slide against the edge of her desk in frustration. She sinks down in her chair to try and compose herself first, then pushes it back before opening them again to give a long, hard look at the patient. At Yuqi, who has that familiar look of stubbornness in her eyes. Her perfect jaw is set as she waits for the oncologist to speak. "You seem way too determined to know if you're dying." Soojin rubs at her temple with a hand. "May I ask why? Do you have a big midterm coming this week? A thesis you'd want to avoid with every inch of your life?" "Very funny." Now it was Yuqi's turn to deadpan. "No, seriously. If you need a doctor's note, just say so and I'll write you one." Soojin concedes wearily, accepting defeat. "No need to go through something you're clearly scared of."
