Of all the ways Max imagined her work assignment to go, being blown to smithereens was not one of them. When Max received a call from the Department of Defence asking her to drive down to a research station in butt-fuck-nowhere-Texas to help analyse and tame a particularly aggressive specimen, she expected to be working with a new breed of service dog. She did not expect to be met with a seven and a half foot tall beast of alien muscle. As it turns out, being short-staffed, Max was called in to make first contact with an Elite Predator warrior that by sheer coincidence and a string of ill luck ended up captured. Why they didn't call in an anthropologist was beyond her, and furthermore, she finds herself to be the only one within a 5-mile radius with common sense. Her entanglement soon sees her tagging along with, or sort of heroically abducted by, said alien to settle the score of having been freed by her. Though they both realize quickly that they've bitten off more than they can chew, with Max grappling with her new life and notion that she may be the biggest pervert in history, and her companion-kidnapper realizing that humans are by far the most annoying and weird creatures there are.
