Then there was Jade hart, a popular 17 year old boy who had a larger group of friends. He wouldn't ever admit he was looking at boys with those dark brown eyes.
What would happen if Jade started failing classes and needed help from Sage so he wouldn't disappoint his mother?

Like a bolt of lightning, this stupid boy appeared in my life. First day of summer break between first and second grade, he just appeared- standing on my porch like he was born there.
