The five dragon tribes of Elementum have long waged war, but when a strange prophecy proclaims that humans--mythical creatures thought to exist only in legend--will bring peace to their shattered continent... Adrian Carter is the star of his high school football team, but his true passion lies in art. However, with the pressures from both his parents and coach to continue, he feels stifled and forced to play. When he is thrust into a mysterious world, in the body of a dragon, he views it as an escape, a way to finally express his true passion. But a looming war puts an end to any ambitions he may have, and when he learns of a prophecy foretelling of humans bringing peace to the dragon world, he and his new dragon friend, Ledge, must find a way to stop the conflict, before lives are lost.
