Sun Touched Embers

After a long day of selling charcoal to the residents of the nearby town, eighteen year old triplets Taki, Nezuko and Takeo Kamado get home in time to see their healthy forty six year old parents Tanjuro and Kie and three younger siblings, thirteen year old girl Hanako, nine year old boy Shigeru and five year old boy Rokuta, all about to be killed by the demon king. However, Taki is soon able to force him to retreat into the night with the help of the sweet natured eighteen year old Demon Slayer Corps member Kyojuro Rengoku, who stays with the family for two weeks afterwards to help them recover. This results in Kyojuro and Taki falling in love and she takes her family's sword and goes with him when he leaves the mountain per the request of the organization's leader. After three days of traveling on foot, they bump into his mother Ruka, who later points out Taki's kindness and lovely appearance will make her a admired person within the Rengoku family's hometown in spite of her being from a poor family.
