There comes a point in your life when you realize that the safe choices won't make you happy. No matter how many times you've heard, "Good things will come to those who wait", you know that waiting is no longer the answer. Caroline knew that if she wanted a future for herself and her loved ones, she'd have to make a dangerous decision. One that she might not come back from as the same person she left as. This required a sacrifice she didn't want to make, but if it meant the happiness of her best friends it was worth anything. Will going to the past save Caroline's future?

Caroline Forbes lives in Mystic Falls. She is a 2 year old vampire, stuck as a 17 year old girl for eternity. Mystic Falls is known for its supernatural. But when dangers threaten her life and the ones she loves. She will have to give up so much with out her friends and family knowing. Which will cause her to lose some of them in the process. But will she make it in time to save them and get rid of the evil. Or will it consume her too? Can she not only save them, but herself? *** I do not own the characters, and some of the story. Copy rights go to TVD, Julie Plec, and the producers. As of April 2018 this book is completed, I am not satisfied with how I've wrote it. So, this book is going to be under heavy construction and then I will adjust the ending.
