Catty Hemsburg, a 22-year-old college dropout and a streamer, decided to stream a Halloween special, So her viewers suggested that she plays "Carnival of Death," a rumored game that is believe to be cursed where people never even make it to the ending. Despite her skepticism, she played the game live at midnight. However, she received a warning from the Ringmaster, stating she would be forced to play if she continued. Catty ignored the warning and woke up to a strange place with seven familiar people standing in front of her.
