Nancy Shelly and Jeremy Danner have been best friends for a whole eternity (well, a decade, actually ) and have never thought that they will ever depart ways and leave their safe place in Liverpool, England.

However, Nancy gets admitted to a program for exchange students in the United States but Jeremy doesn't, their whole perfect world gets shattered into pieces.

Will she accept to live a whole ocean away from her best friend and adapt to a totally new culture and people? Or will she stay where she is and enjoy her life like she used to do?

*completed Navigating your way through an American high school is hard enough without adding an accent into the mix. British girl Evie seemingly had the perfect life. That was until the car accident that left her an orphan and only child. Her parents friends offer to take her in but that would mean moving to California, going to high school and making new friends. It's not all bad though. Especially as Harrison the most irritating, good looking guy she's ever met and the rest of the soccer team insist on bombarding their way into her life. They say when one door closes another one opens. What people forget to mention though, is that most of the time you'll be violently shoved through the new door with barely a moment to breath.
