Neither Shadow nor Amy can bring themselves to leave without their big sister, Maria, who was unfortunately kidnapped by the tyrannical king of Moebius, Scourge the Hedgehog.
Fortune is on their side, however, as Prince Sonic and his friend Princess Sally agree to help the Rose siblings in their rescue mission. Will the transformed athletes manage to rescue Maria and get home, or will she be sacrificed on Scourge's wedding day?
