In the enigmatic realm of Hunter x Hunter, within the formidable Zoldyck mansion, Canary, the vigilant butler, stood guard outside, ensuring the notorious family's safety. One fateful day, her watchful eyes caught sight of a woman, aged between 40 and 50, crawling in agony. The woman's body bore numerous open wounds, and her feeble attempts at coherent speech were overshadowed by pain.
In a desperate plea for mercy, the injured woman implored Canary to let her cross a particular line, lest she face immediate death. Despite the gravity of the situation, Canary, a mixture of shock and empathy in her gaze, gave the woman permission. Gasping for breath, the woman managed to articulate, "P-p-please take my babies," the words sharp and strained. Exhausted, she sighed, admitting her imminent demise, "I-i-I'm dying, a-and I can't *speaks breathily* - leave my b-babies."
Choked up with tears, the woman wearily rested her head on the ground, devoid of energy. In a poignant gesture, she removed a cross necklace, stained with her own blood, and placed it across the small bodies of her baby girls. The contrast between the bloodied necklace and the warm brown skin of the infants created a grotesquely beautiful scene.
Canary, staring in shock and grappling with empathy, witnessed the heart-wrenching moment. The little brown girl, embodying Canary herself, approached a rain-soaked, mold-infested box. Distressed cries emanated from within as she gazed upon the helpless babies. In a somber twist, Canary looked up to find the mother now lifeless and gone.
