Ely Millhouse. A simple girl who finds herself in the middle of an ongoing investigation. Ashton Fennel, a boy who was in her class, had mysteriously disappeared. No one has since him since February 24th at a memorial for the priest who recently died named Brett Wellman. The police aren't doing much so Ely takes matters into her own hands especially after being one of the 3 people who last saw Ashton. She begins unraveling secrets of everyone in town especially Father Wellman. After digging, she gets notes threatening her life telling her "You're too close to this." But she doesn't back down easily. Will she figure out who took Ashton or disappear alongside him?
