A soldier with the private military company, Kortac, you are sent to assist Task Force 141. Begrudgingly you follow your orders to work with the other company and quickly realize you aren't exactly welcome with open arms and now have set out to prove your worth to the unit's local phantom, Ghost. Even if you share the same rank, it's going to be nothing but an uphill battle as you find yourself more and more drawn to the mysterious man behind the mask.
This story will loosely follow the campaign missions of the 2022 MWII title with some alterations but I will try and keep it as canon as possible.

Reader is a solider working for the Shadow Company at Graves orders. The mission was to find, maybe fuck, and kill Soap, Ghosts only friend; without Soap Ghost would be a shell of a man and unable to use his strengths again the Shadow Companys bigger plan. But along the way things get a little south as you are instead taken as a hostage to the 141 at their base. Learning you were betrayed by Phillip Graves you join the 141 to help them out to get closer to Graves to kill him and escape the military all together with Benning, who may or may not be alive. It's not very lore accurate and loosely takes place during MW2. The most iinspo i got plot wise is the cold war campaign so if ykkk ;) At the beginning there was more POV variation; by the end i stuck with 2nd pov. mc is a little of self insert and annoying, dont worry.
