I wept while gazing into his crimson siren eyes, the kind that would haunt children in bedtime stories.

"Are you even real? I managed to whisper as I looked into his sparkling eyes my legs shivering like that of a little lamb in front of a wild beast .

"Is this the first time you've seen me, my love?" he questioned . looking into my eyes he delicately traced my lips with his index finger, slightly parting them.
"Ask the deep parts of your soul," he whispered into my ear chuckling slightly which filled the back of my neck with goosebumps .

Stuttering, I managed to say, "I, I haa , h-have always..." breathing heavily as the words struggled to escape my mouth.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and, as he peered into my eyes, I blurted out, "I searched for something that does not exist."

Looking at him with tear-filled eyes, I continued, pushing away his palm that cradled my waist. Attempting a facade of boldness, which he immediately saw through, he smirked.

I carried on, admitting, "There's not a day I haven't sought something to fill my void, m-m-my emptiness- the very essence of me that feels incomplete, half-formed.

Do you possess the other half of m-me? Are you that s-same monster from my dreams? is it y-y-you I've been searching for?" I've managed to ask him.
