How long can the human body last without sleep?
Nightmares. Horrible, horrific nightmares. Every night for three weeks, Nathan Beck has been plagued with horrible nightmares of a place covered in red. When Valerie Ripley refuses to let it go, he shows her the place that got him cursed. They locate a temple in the woods where the wisps of a deity tell them how to stop this. And what's really at stake. Together, they and four others embark on a quest that will challenge their morals, fears, and knowledge of reality.
