You'd have been proud of Hope today. She's back home from summer break. I brought her to the hospital for a fundraiser, hoping she'd play with the other alian kids, but as I turned around she was gone. I found her inside at a woman's bedside telling her her stories and singing to her. Sometimes I think about all the unlikely things that led to her existence. You and I born on rival planets, and all that petty crap that brought us to that one night on valentine's day. It's been hard... but the truth is I watched her curled up next to that dying woman and I knew I wouldn't change a thing in all my life, I've never felt lucky before her.

Mike(aka Mon el from daxam) was sent to Earth when he was younger, so now he's the same age as Kara and everyone else in the gang. No one knows about these two being from a whole new Galaxy, except Alex knows about Kara. Kara is trying to fit in, while "Mike" is living life as the most popular kid in school. He arrived about two years before this fanfiction takes place. I got the inspiration for this from @sairaflo I hope you like it.
