I have restarted this book. I wanted to make it easier to read and more enjoyable. I hope to make shorter chapters and update frequently. :) In the beginning Sylar has no name. No one cares. She's just another kid to fall into a system because she was an unwanted mess. A child that doesn't talk? Yea, no one care about that either. A shady group home filled with bullies and secrets? Yea, you guessed NO ONE CARES! To find friends in a place like this is unlikely. This place is built to feed off the fears of kids and their lack of parental role models. No one holds on to dreams for long in a place like this. You get placed here and you are as good as forgotten. Except when a couple shows up looking as out of place as an astronaut in a gold mine or a miner in space whichever one you prefer. This couple comes and shakes things up. Good or Bad has yet to be decided...only someone's bound to get hurt, someone's bound to be broken. The only question is will the wounds heal or fester and kill?

She must deal with the stress of everyone looking to her for answers, the pain of loss, and worst of all the emptiness of losing her friends, family, and powers. As Nova frantically looks for answers to all her questions, she must try her hardest not to fall to the emptiness that Cleo is trying to enforce in her, her friends, and her family. But with losing a new power each day and trying to figure out a plan to save them all, she needs to think fast as everyone slowly dies off. Can she do it in time, or will the country remain in the grasp of the Government? This is definitely going to be the best of the three books, with lots of action, suspence, and even a small bit of love. Also, for the cover photo, I want to thank @FuryOfZeus for the design, she was the only one who entered anything, so she won the contest and this is her entry.
