Lord Garmadon was supposed to conquer the world, really, that's what the whole point of this was, unleash the power of the Great Devourer (or something along those lines), bring Ninjago under the Overlord control.
He didn't count on all 16 realms merging.
That's the last thing everyone heard about him, apparently he had turn tails and run off many years ago, with now the realm of Imperium gaining considerably power over one part of this new merged world.
Now trying to control his evil urges and keep a low profile he has moved to a smaller city outside Imperium, the crossroads, with his son Lloyd and a group of misfit teens under his care, maybe, just maybe, they would be the key to getting an upper hand against Imperium... or the key to him gaining enough power to control all 16 realms.
He will figure it out as he goes.

Tldr. Kinda rewite/mix of a universe where the merge happened many years before the Ninjas were even born... and now Garmadon has to babysit a bunch of kids.

It has been a while since Lord Garmadon has been gone through a vortex, but he will return one day. Despite their lack of training, the Ninja encountered a mischievous little boy named Lloyd Garmadon, the son of Lord Garmadon. Lloyd has mistakenly unleashed an ancient race of snake people in five tribes called the Serpentine, which means an ancient evil has been released. Meanwhile, the Ninja discovered a scroll that holds a prophecy of a legendary Green Ninja destined to defeat the Dark Lord and the Ninja, except for Alisa, must figure out who is the true identity of the Green Ninja. As of now, the Ninja must fine a way to stop the five Serpentine tribes from uniting themselves and find the five silver Fangblades that will unleashed the mother of all snakes that will consume all of Ninjago, the Great Devourer! Even the first Spinjitzu Master couldn't separate them. The only problem? (Y/N) inherited a little more than just a last name from their father, leaving them bold and dangerous--and maybe a little bit scared at times. And when they decide to do something that goes a little too far, Lloyd and (Y/N)'s paths begin to intertwine with a few others--such as the very people that would save them both. One day, just as things start to become unbearable in the siblings' lives, an old sensei comes to meet the three siblings and makes them an all too intriguing offer. He gives them the chance to a new life. How will the siblings cope with the drastic transition from being neglected in an abusive household to living in a peaceful monastery amongst kind and caring people? How will their broken mindsets and crippling fears affect them and their parts in a prophecy? How will two boys both dressed in green find peace after a war lights up between them? ------------- This story is only meant to be a bit of fun for me and my readers, so it won't be as well-written as my other books. A whole year has passed after Nya's sacrifice. Many of the Ninja had deserted from the team to do their own personal things, however that wouldn't last too long when they all learn about a Herald buying vengestones and recruiting old villains. Rise of the Serpentine (Cole x Reader)
After centuries of being imprisoned beneath Ninjago City, the Serpentine, an ancient race of snakes, are realised by Lloyd Garmadon, son of Lord Garmadon, they seek revenge against the people who put them there.. The ninjas, Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, and Y/n, initially sceptical of their abilities, must set aside their differences and work together. They discover they possess elemental powers, and master the art of Spinjitzu to combat the Serpentine threat, although Y/n has not unlocked said elemental powers, yet. * * * All your life you knew the Brookstones.(IK that's not their real last name, but it sounds better then 'Bucket', soooo) and for the longest time, the Brookstones son, Cole was your best friend. And what felt like forever, you had a crush on him, but you didn't want to tell him, out of fear he didn't feel the same way. (In this story, when Cole goes away he isn't found by Sensei Wu till after you.) When one day, you went over to his house, and his Dad said that he had gone away to the Marty Oppenheimer School of the Art's, which didn't sound right. After a few months, weird stuff started happening to you. One day, you were approached by an old man, claiming that you were an Elemental master, and that you needed to train to be a ninja. At first you were sceptical, but after some thought, you went with him. After about a month, the man said he wanted you to meet some other people like you. You didn't know what you expected, but you didn't expect Cole to be one of the people you were to meet. The man probably didn't expect you to know any of the people, but when you ran up to Cole and hugged him, you could say, it took him by surprise. quick note, you have two brother's, one older brother, and one younger brother. Through Time
In one universe lies the next generation of Ninja while in another universe lies Lloyd, the Ninja, and their students. Meanwhile everything seems normal on the outside to both worlds, in reality there is alot of horrible things occurring. With the new generation of Ninja having their enemy, "The Omega" with his army and Lloyd with the others having their enemies Lord Ras, Dr. La'Row, Former Emperess Beatrix, and Dr. Jordana teaming up together to rule all the known universes in existence it is the Ninjas job to prevent their rule from occurring. Will the Ninja be able to team up to stop their enemies for good or will their enemies take over all of existence? (The next gen Ninja are the only characters I own.)

Kai's always wanted to be a leader, but his hothead kept him from properly fulfilling that role, but know, he has to teach the team a new form of Jitzu, one he found on his journey.
