Riddles of the Labyrinth

He woke alone on the hard dirt ground surrounded In fog.

The shadows breathed:

"Come and see. Solve my riddle and the path will be laid before you. Fail and the fog will be the least of your worries."

She woke alone caught in the branches of ydrissulianly large branches.

From the boughs she stood and looked out into the greying darkness of storms.

As her eyes adjusted to the miasma she saw WALLS, a venerable maze stretching out beyond the horizon in all directions.

The storm spoke thus: "I will protect you within these walls, enforced by the riddles kept on the tongues of the various beasts within. ". Continuing;

"Even now I've cast out that false lover of yours. I am your only needed love and in time you will understand this as we work to build this domain forever!!!"

Sitting alone in her desperation, she started meditating.. . .
