Si Mario, sa mundo ng mga tao: labas at malayo sa isla, ay isa sa mga Avian. Napagtanto niya ito noong ika-labingwalong kaarawan niya. 

Ngunit, mailalapat ba niya ang kanyang sarili sa hanay ng mga Avian gayong natatangi siya sa lahat? Paano siya makikibagay sa mga Avian kung sa simpleng pagkakaroon ng Ave ay wala siya? 

Tunghayan at basahin nang buo ang kanyang mga pagdadaanang pagsubok, diskriminasyon, at kung paanong sa simpleng presensya niya ay nabago ang buhay ng ibang Avian sa isla.
