STORYLINE:
During the war, Voldemort had given Draco the ability to read minds, and he had never used it since then because he wasn't really loyal to The Dark Lord. And he never tends to use it for the bad reasons. Though, after the war had ended, he used it only for necessities and his own curiosities. He also dealt with some problems from being hated as a Death Eater, and those two words had haunted him til his last breath. He hated it to the guts.

Side note: Draco had been hated, as well as the other Slytherins bcz of what happened during the war. So they had a kind of bad reputation around the School.

Harry in the other hand had earned mental illnesses, issues and problems because of how much that happened during and before the war, he had often overthought of situations that maybe Voldemort was still alive. It derived him to be more cautious with his surroundings and too unfocused. His friends, Hermione and Ron had tried to help him, but Harry just brushed it off saying that he doesn't need help.

(Harry and Ginny never dated here bcz from his issues, he needed some space which resulted in some sitiationship.)

Between those times, Draco had been eyeing Harry for a few days since 8th year started. Days turned into weeks when Malfoy had gotten too curious about what Potter was thinking, because he noticed he acted different enough for someone who recently saved the world.

Here's the catch:
Draco doesn't like reading minds, and he'll only lose the ability once he had done his job. Which was to eliminate what Voldemort wanted to do so in the past.

Idea: There was a fic called Mental in A03, which made me think of making a fic where it's kinda different.
