A Hogwarts' Pride and Prejudice

Who is stealing muggle maidens from the countryside? Is it the work of dark wizards trying to bring back the infamous dark Lord Napoleon or a muggle-trafficking ring delivering to the seediest brothels?
The Bennets are a premier wizarding family in Meryton of Hertfordshire, boasting the most beautiful daughters of the county. While the youngest daughter, Lydia, eagerly awaits her letter to arrive from Hogwarts, the neighboring estate is "let at last" by a young auror named Charles Bingley, who brings along his mentor and friend, the rich and enigmatic auror Fitzwilliam Darcy.

Yet Darcy and Bingley aren't the only new arrivals to Meryton. An evil force has crept into the countryside and young muggle daughters are mysteriously disappearing. Who could be doing this? How can it be stopped? Wonders Elizabeth Bennet, second eldest and cleverest of the Bennet daughters. She dreams of being an auror but doubts men like Fitzwilliam Darcy will ever think her capable. Can she convince Darcy to work together to stop the kidnappings? What if they needed to get back one of their own?

This is a mashup of the world's of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and Rowlings' wizarding world. It takes place around 1811, so before a lot of HP cannon and I'm just making stuff up as I go.
