My Brothers Rival (Gary Oak Fanfic)

How is it that you can have something for your brother's Rival? I mean is that even allowed? How does that even work? Natalie Ketchum aka Ash Ketchum's little sister. She was your average 17-year-old girl living in Pallet Town of the Kanto Region with her older brother Ash and Mother Diana.
Natalie you can say is very close to her family. She's close with her mother while she and Ash are very competitive considering that they both wanna be Pokemon Masters. Ash and Natalie travel around the world with their good friends Brock and Misty.
When Ash and Natalie started their pokemon journey, Natalie didn't get a Starter pokemon until they were in Unova Region. Oshawott has always been her favorite starter pokemon and has always wanted on and now that she's got one, they have been the best of buddies ever since.
Natalie is friends with everyone she meets along the way, even with Gary Oak himself aka Ash's rival. They've pretty much grown up with each other considering Gary's Grandpa is Professor Oak, so they're all close despite Ash who gets jealous that Gary not only teases him and is one step ahead of him in Gym Battles.
But he's also annoyed that her and Gary get along better than they do but the one thing you have to consider is that Natalie has a small crush on him...Okay a big crush on him but nobody needs to know that. She likes that he's competitive, strong, cocky, smart and super handsome.
But no one knows about her crush not even Ash, but Misty and Brock kinda have a feeling about it but don't say anything to embarrass her. But what happens when something bad happens and it only brings those two closer together? What happens when Gary realizes his true feelings for her? Let's see what happens next...
