It's an OP!reader isekai. I couldn't find anything online that I had envisioned in my mind, so I ultimately decided to make something to fill that void, Primarchs and all. :) Please comment on any improper or weak wording if you can, it helps me out in the long run especially when I plan to edit those parts (Parts 1-9 have been edited). -Intended for a slow burn, but I will do my best to upload regularly, so no one is left hanging for too long. -Artwork and story are by me, but the Warhammer 40k and Horus Heresy universe, its story, and its characters belong to Game Workshop's. -Do not attempt to repost this story anywhere without my permission on ANY platform, but do inform me if you see anything, please.

Commander Caius Atelinas is many things: angel, demon, soldier, saint, and above all, an Ultramarine. A distinguished veteran of uncounted battles, his squad is often sent on some of the most dangerous missions to defend the Imperium of Man from the enemies of Mankind no matter where they show their faces. When he is sent on a mission to retrieve a stranded Tech-Priest on an isolated world at the edge of Imperium Space, he finds himself confronted with something much more dangerous than a downed space craft. My Warhammer 40k novel without invincible space marines and allmighty psykers. There is a space marine, pretty pequliar though, and there is a psyker (and bunch of other differernt characters), but it is hard to survive and win in my grim future. The Everything: Integration (Sci-Fi Alien Invasion? Story)

Escaping My Shadows
The novel started as a short story that was submitted to a writing contest (didn't win). It is very loosely based upon the Babylon 5 Universe (telepaths, shadows, plethora of different races, etc.). I still continued to think about the story and how it ended without a final resolution (though the story did have an ending, it left a lot of questions about the protagonist). Thanks to the obsession and compulsion I have with writing (it's a blessing and a curse) I decided to continue the story to final resolution. This is it. A race called the Chitoxan came from an unknown area of space and declared war on the races making up the Earth-Alliance. More technically advanced than the races they encounter, the overwhelming power of the shadow vessels results in most battles ending in complete defeat for the Earth-Alliance. Only by massing fire on an individual shadow vessel or, in extremely desperate situations, committing suicide with a ship's reactor overload, can a shadow vessel be defeated. Earth and Earth-alliance colonies are slowly being conquered and occupied by Chitoxa. The humans on these occupied colonies are enslaved and forced to serve the Chitoxan's every need. A young man volunteers for the Space Marines during the Chitoxan war. Upon induction, he discovers that he is 'blessed' with unique abilities. However, these abilities cause his life to be changed drastically and terribly. He is taken away and forced into a never-ending nightmare. After a quick and violent encounter between Earth and Chitoxa, another Earth fleet is beaten and is almost wiped out. The surviving ship gets a lucky shot at an attacking shadow vessel, slicing off one of its appendages. The pain and shock of the loss does something to the human controller of the battle crab....Concluida

It is the 41st Millennium and the Imperium of Man only knows war. Chaos threatens to topple it, aliens and Xenos come at it from all sides. There is only war. But for the group under control of Imperial Inquisitor Haydrax Ishamael Ignatio Jacobeam the Fourth, they face the true enemy of the Imperium: the forces of Chaos and the Heretics that follow the Ruinous powers. But after a stop at Tarsis Ultra brings them into a warzone spanning a planet, much like many more. But admist the ruins and desolation, one of their own remembers the horror that awaits in the planet.
