Some might think the middle of the night is quiet, silent, or peaceful in the kingdom of Corona, and some are right. In the daylight, noise surrounds Most and Some. As the sun sets, noise surrounds Some and Most. When the last bell of the day sounds from the town clock, silence rules. Even in the castle where over a hundred people live to protect and serve the royal family of Corona. Some say it is quiet because Most are dormant. On this glorious night, the Queen was ill, but they found a cure. The princess was delivered but then stolen. The princess was born at 12:04 pm and everyone was celebrating noisily. The princess took her first breath at  12:04:10pm and the entire kingdom- whether Some or Most- slept. The queen slept. The king slept. The doctors, nurses, servants, horsemen, and guards slept. The princess, though, did not sleep. Neither did Gothel. That was the first day in a hundred years that Most were up past midnight and Some slept at night. The newborn princess was kidnapped on the night of her birth. The sun rose and fell twice, and everyone was asleep. On the third rising they wake from their slumber. Panic rose when Rapunzel was not found.All Rights Reserved

She has one month to exchange daily messages with him, to answer his questions and open his eyes to the realities of a world he has never been allowed to see. A revolution is coming to the Land at the end of the month, and if Merryn's notes fail to get their point across, Theo may never live to see the sunrise on June first. A/N: The following letters were originally published each day from May 1st-31st, 2014. As you will see,Theo is allowed to write down a question for Merryn each evening, but you, the reader, won't see these within the body of the story. It may or may not be obvious from Merryn's response what Theo is asking. Part of the fun is guessing what his questions might be, but if you really want to know what they are, a list of those questions is at the end of the story. This story is a re-imagining of Rapunzel. Then if you are never going to get married, I suppose you won't mind agreeing to give me your first born child." He challenged. "Alright. Because it will NEVER happen!" "A promise is a promise." Rumplestiltskin says, "You must uphold your word." "For your information, this child isn't even mine." I respond. This takes Rumpelstiltskin by surprise. "She's not?" I explain what happened. "Well, she is a first born child, and now she's yours, so she IS your first born child." He decides.

The series finale just hit its fifth anniversary, and as I was thinking about it I remembered this fanfic existed. ...this is certainly a piece of work, lmao. Between the writing style being very reflective of my age to the self-deprecating comments I wrote about my own writing to the stolen cover art (my sincerest apologies for that, I am going to change it but the original is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr) it is beyond me what was going through my head when I wrote it. It is for that reason I found myself shocked to see it with thousands of reads and comments, which thank you for by the way, I did not realize there was this much demand for moon Varian lol. For now I intend on leaving it up solely because it is hilarious to me and a good reflection on what was at the time a very important show to me. In the present, a lot of my love for the series has been somewhat diminished, due to many factors. But I won't deny what it did for me then, as I have moved onto, what I am hopeful to view as far greater artistic pursuits lol.
