It has been many years since you have last seen the soil of Earth.

Perhaps you were alive to watch the tyrants rise to power and watch the price of oil and coal skyrocket until the governments announced that they had no more left.
Perhaps you were young enough not to know a world that did not have alien people present, where the air was filled with the sounds of birdsongs instead of sirens and announcements.
Perhaps you were young enough to see the last few years of peace before the world fell apart, and the gates of hell seemingly opened to swallow people whole.
Perhaps you were lucky, or unlucky, enough to survive the last of the ice melt and watch as the sky, choked with smog, part to reveal the first rays of pure sunlight in years.
Perhaps you were young enough to see the first dinosaurs in the wild, or young enough to know only a world with giant reptiles alongside new creatures.
Perhaps you were even younger.
It does not matter now.
You've been asleep for a very long time. And now that you have woken up, you are going to find that the world is very...Different.
So, wake up. Scrape off the slime from your preservation pod. Exit your Safehouse. Open your eyes at the foot of an Obelisk.
