In 1981, Sirius Black was carted off to Azkaban, and his children lost their last bit of family.
In 1991, Harry Potter walked through the doors of the Great Hall, and all eyes were watching, but they weren't staring at him. They were staring behind him, even the boy who lived turned around in curiosity. Two children were standing together, a boy, and a girl. The children of the Grim.
In 1993, Sirius Black escaped.
In 1993, Sirius Black returned.
In 1993, their worlds fell apart.

"Zenith Black, stop walking away!" Cressida yelled down the hallway.
Everyone was watching, but it didn't stop her from following him. Zenith continued to walk, ignoring his sister.
"Our father is free!"
Zenith stopped. He balled his fist.
"Sirius Black is not my father," he said, his voice fierce. A tone he had never dared to use against his sister before. He turned away, shaking his head in disgust.
"Yes, he is," she said, grabbing his arm.
"Don't touch me," he said calmly, trying to slip out of her grasp.
"Zenith, please don't walk away," she said, her voice breaking.
