This is a story made for the Au I made but figured I'd mix it up a little.
So in this y/n is stuck In a au filled with a infectious out rake for monster kind, y/n is human and un effected by it, but being that there was a outbreak didn't mean they were safe from danger.
Before y/n was cornered by a hoard of ravenous monsters out for blood they were pulled in by a portal to a open area demention, this demention was connected to a lot of different aus branching off like a olive branch.
There was a mysterious figure with many hands and faces that looked at them and held out a floating sphere as if bekining to be touched, right as they touched it they blacked out no memories of the figure or how they got to the area they are but when they looked around everything was very wrong.....

Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations. Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance. He has accepted these but it gets tiring when he already has the voices bossing him around or Fate reminding him that he should do more destruction. But he doesn't limit himself to destruction. He watches UnderNovela, admires the stars, and appreciates what he can. He pushes the limits of what is expected of him or disregards them completely. A trait that Dream eventually finds himself admiring in him, the known enemy of his friend. He knows that Error's feelings are genuine since he doesn't change in his presence(still an angry manchild). So when Dream gets wounded and stuck with Error on a whim, where will it take them? Will it be a mistake remaining in a hatred of enemies or will it change them both for the better? Could this admiration open Error up to corrupting Dream or will he be the influence Dream needs to against expectations and live for himself?Complete

TWs!!! because I can't seem to tag them for some reason! abuse, mental health issues, torture, mental break downs, manipulation, all that fun stuff. This is NOT a lighthearted story! Nightmare had been alone in his head for the longest time. For 500 years he was able to gain more power, a castle, a gang, and a reputation of one of the most dangerous beings in the multiverse. But when Dream had broken out of stone, someone else made themselves known, someone who should have been dead. OR Corrupted Nightmare is a parasite and Passive Nightmare refuses to die.
