Years ago, specifically 11 years ago, a god made a bad decision, and now I'm stuck in this burning garbage pit of hell we like to call "Earth". Hi, I'm Kryseis Stratakis, a.k.a. Krys, and I am- unfortunately- a demigod. I don't know why my mother decided to name me such a complicated Greek name, we live in Connecticut for crying out loud, but she insists that my father named me. Yea right, I've never even met the guy, and my mother is a mythology scholar from Crete, so it's 100% her fault that I have to say here when the teacher hesitates while taking attendance. Never mind that, I guess I'm supposed to be telling a story, so I'll hop to it, and hope that it's interesting enough for you to enjoy.

Btw the first book will be the PJO series and will have no romantic partner for the main character, but the sequel will be the HOO series and will be a OC x OC romance story (no smut).All Rights Reserved

Life of A Young Demigod: Book 1 (Percy Jackson reader insert) by ClarendonI

COMPLETED! This is a m!reader-insert fic based in the Percy Jackson universe, as I imagine you can tell. I'm just starting this (as of early March 2023), and have very little writing experience, at least with this style, so forgive me if it begins a bit rough, I will likely go back and clean things up later on once I'm a bit more experienced. I intend this to be fairly strict in terms of major canon relationships and such, I don't have a problem with people who change them and actually quite like a number of stories that do, but I'd like to try something other than the 50th readerxannabeth fic (dont yell at me I actually enjoy those). I also will not be having (Y/N) "take Percy's place" in any way. Again, I have no problem with others who write this way, but it is not how I want to do it. I grew up with Rick's superb writing, and I don't intend to make any fundamental changes to Percy's story. It is great as is and I don't exactly feel qualified to change it. Perhaps I will get more ambitious as I go along, but I am fairly certain of this at the moment. (Y/N)'s story is complimentary. It will of course involve many changes to events, new events, and even slight lore changes to make things work, but it will all make sense within the original framework and hopefully won't be too jarring. In terms of long term plans. I aim to at least get through the end of HoO. That'll probably take a good year or so, so I think that's a solid aim for now. I'm from Long Island, so expect a LOT of specific LI and NY references here and there. Think of them as fun easter eggs :) Books one and two are going to fairly brief compared to the later ones. They're not short by any means, they'll be a solid 3 hour read each, but the later ones will be notably longer. Enjoy!
