It's Ela's Sophomore year at Gallagher Academy and she's ecstatic about being invited to the sublevels. Everything is finally falling into place as she continues her spy training. That is until some unexpected, temporary new students come in and add some heavy competition that throws the girls off guard. One new student in particular comes in and rocks Ela to her very core, her life will never be the same after his entrance. This school year will redefine Ela's future as she pursues leads on her fathers, fights for her life, and struggles with the emotions of her heart's desires. Nothing is ever simple in the life of a spy in training, something Ela quickly is coming to terms with.
