"You are my Luna now, Amber. You belong to Moonshadow, to me." He was angry at my protests, and at being denied of what should be granted to him naturally. What was already granted. I could feel what he was feeling in such depth that all of it felt like an emotional shock. Nothing could have prepared me for this sudden impact of rush of emotions that this bond brought with itself.

I hesitated, torn between the rapid beating of my heart and the logical resistance in my mind. "Gideon, I can't just belong to someone like that. It's not how..."

He silenced me with a hungry kiss, his lips demanding and possessive. My initial resistance crumbled under the weight of his intensity. He pulled back, his eyes smouldering. "You're mine, and I'm not letting you go." His nails dug into the skin of my wrist, drawing out blood and again.

He saw what he did and instead of feeling remorse, he smirked.
