Run or Stay? Quite the question to think about especially since there was no way of running. The situation became worse as Penelope had finally met Ivonne. Betrayed by Eckless and her whole family, Penelope started to lose her footing. There was no way out of this hell anymore.
Even if Penelope wanted to get away, there was no place for her at all.
She was after all that one villainess who was supposd to die.
.... why should she suffer if perhapse suicide was a great choice? Maybe it would even bring her back to her very own world.

Being imprisoned does wonders with one mind. Especially after being imprisoned for a couple of hours alone.... for something quite unrealistic too. He's more compassionate then he was before she had escaped and she's sleep in his treehouse with him side by side. Surprised by his compassion (well more like his less harsh to her) She absorbs the moment, she's for once happy after a very long time. So she doesn't run, she doesn't fight back (unless it's playfully), she cooperates. They learn to lean on each other in a time of need. Wendy doesn't want to leave him, as he hid the only one who searched for her and cared enough to stay. But soon she realizes how easily a person can be replaced.
