Laura and Clint met, fell in love, and got married. They joined S.H.I.E.L.D. as Agent 19 and Hawkeye. Laura found that she was pregnant with a child, and had a change of heart and decided that she wanted to retire and raise the child with Clint in a safer environment. When Laura retired, Nick Fury removed her from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files. Laura gave birth to their firstborn son, (Y/N) Joseph Barton, later known as the Crimson Caiman or Agent Noir.
