It is still overcast outside from last night’s rain, giving the school a dreary, haunted presence. It’s a perfect place for kids like me to be spending five years of their young lives."
Annie Treater was not excited to start school in this foreign city. The kids are brats, the teachers don't care about anything, and the classes are ant infested, she figures. That is what it was like at her old school. Aren't they all the same? Yeah, right.
