Apart from growing up in a pure-blooded family that taught her how the Blacks were superior over Half-Bloods and Muggle-Borns.
But yes, apart from that, she lived a blossoming life with her twin, Sirius Black. The two were set out on the Hogwarts Express at age 11, and found a compartment that housed two girls. Marlene McKinnon, and Lily Evans. Later on that ride, 3 boys walked in. James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin.

The 5 kids would grow to be known as the Marauders. With their strategic pranks and witty humor, everyone naturally formed into each other.
