A man who sacrificed his eyes for his obsession ponders whether the sacrifice was worth the dead ends he has been pursuing. Elsewhere, a group of researchers awakens an ancient evil. Even further afield a girl discovers a strange chapel where there should be nothing of the sort. All of these stories have one thing in common, their links to the mysterious isle of Tir Nan Briste and its enigmatic ruler; the great Marble King.
This story is mostly here as writing practice for a world/story which I'm still working on fleshing out as a hobby. It's also the first thing I've written in 10-odd years so if anyone happens to stumble upon this I'd love to your thoughts/feedback.

That was obvious but things are very different in this world, to start off the main story line has already bin completed by a very, very young female wizard named Alenia. That might sound weird. The second thing is after the battle with the Puppet master something very strange and add normal happened. There was a white fog in the Puppet masters eyes and it went away after Alenia...couldn't do what had to be done. She couldn't kill him, she wasn't a killer. Good thing to because the Puppet master was never really...evil. Think about it, what if he was enslaved himself? Greetings! This is my second fanfiction on this site. As a huge fan of Tensura fanfics, especially the incredible works of Bon Aurevoir, It was My first Tensura Fanfic I've read and I was inspired to create something similar. After discussing ideas with Bon and getting his approval, I finally decided to take the plunge and write my own story. As the title suggests, the main character is a kind yet cunning individual. He strives to help others and guide them toward redemption. Despite his cunning nature, his naivety as a former human still lingers. Over time, he will grow from a child blessed with power into a man who shoulders great responsibility. The story will initially follow the canon timeline, but I plan to introduce some unique elements along the way to keep things engaging. Lastly, while I've included the R18 tag, I'm still honing my skills in writing romance and lemons. Expect a slow-burn romance, but I promise those moments will come eventually.
