A man who sacrificed his eyes for his obsession ponders whether the sacrifice was worth the dead ends he has been pursuing. Elsewhere, a group of researchers awakens an ancient evil. Even further afield a girl discovers a strange chapel where there should be nothing of the sort. All of these stories have one thing in common, their links to the mysterious isle of Tir Nan Briste and its enigmatic ruler; the great Marble King.
This story is mostly here as writing practice for a world/story which I'm still working on fleshing out as a hobby. It's also the first thing I've written in 10-odd years so if anyone happens to stumble upon this I'd love to your thoughts/feedback.

He had enough money to go by free education and a small one room apt. by the government he had a part time job at a café. But something was missing in his Life he filled that missing piece by indulging into the world of novels and fantasy.
