Hermione has taken a job offer at the Ministry; she is working as a lawyer. When realizing that Malfoy's trial date is now beginning to be discussed, she takes it upon herself to take the case and help Draco and his mother. Why? The war changed her view and opened her eyes to those who were forced to do wrong because of the power Voldemort was gaining.
Draco was sure he would be locked away for life. However, when Hermione Granger walks into the conference room as his lawyer, he somehow knows she will not stop till he is a free man; when he learns that she is also helping his mother, he can't find the words to thank her. Once free, he starts leaving little gifts at her office.
Does Hermione find out who these gifts are from?
