(While this particular work of fiction is based on a BL ship, this story can be read by any fan of LGBT romance.)

After a single case of "mistaken identity" during a costume party, Ping is left thoroughly embarrassed, while Meen can't help but pine after the other.

Even though it is indeed more common for "birds of a feather" to flock together, there are times when undeniable chemistry and instinct draw two drastically different personalities together.

Meen and Ping are both students at the same university in Bangkok. While Meen is an ambitious full-time fourth-year student, Ping is a first-year culinary student who is going part-time due to his indecisiveness toward his future. Naturally, these two opposites see each other around the halls of the university from time to time, but their paths have never quite crossed.

Ping is a surface level kind of guy. Endearingly, what you see is what you get. Meen, on the other hand, while seemingly put together, has a dark side that has yet to be seen. After all, still waters run deep.

I'm Finn Vasco but that's not quite important right now. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy if I'm gonna be honest. I'm closed off and I literally only have one friend. I might hate everybody in my school... but there's this guy there. He's... let's say, dreamy, someone who I thought would never even acknowledge my existence. That guy who was too damn good to be true, who was too good for me, who was too good for... everybody! You get what I'm trying to say. He's that cliché king of the campus and a popular and attractive heartthrob and with just one wink, he can send people on their knees... That sounded so wrong, anyway. So can you blame me for being over the moon when one day, he approached me only to what? ...To ask for my help courting my freaking best friend. I knew it was stupid for me to hope I'd even have any chance with him anyway. So I just agreed to help him. Even if I was hurting myself and potentially my best friend in the process, my best friend who has been there with me through the thick and thins, I still did it... I mean what could go wrong besides literally everything? So my plan was to just set my crush and my best friend up, and then everything would be alright... right? But of course, life doesn't like it when people have it easy. *** Highest Ranking #2 on #lgbtfiction #5 on #boyxboy #6 on #gay #8 on #teenfiction *** ~ WARNING: This story contains strong language and bullying. 47 parts Complete Mature

Prologue "In class, he teaches international theories. After dark, he decides who lives or dies." Dunk Methakawin isn't just a professor with a charming smile and perfect lesson plans - he's the head of one of the most dangerous Mafia syndicates in Asia. His orders topple governments. His decisions redraw bloodlines. But at this elite university, he's playing a new game - undercover, unreadable, and unbelievably close to falling for a student who barely speaks above a whisper. Joong is quiet. Brilliant. Beautiful. And completely unaware of the storm walking toward him in tailored suits and textbook references. He's just trying to pass his classes, avoid eye contact, and maybe stop blushing every time his professor says his name. Then there's Phuwin - Dunk's younger brother and second-in-command. Sharp as a blade. Silent as death. He's supposed to be watching the enemy. But he finds himself watching someone else instead: a shy, clumsy student named Pond, who might just become the one crack in Phuwin's steel armor. Four lives. Two worlds. One classroom. And zero rules when love meets power. ⸻ "He gives lectures in the day. He gives orders at night. But the heart he wants to control the most... sits quietly in the back row."
