"Did he do this to you my queen?" Dark onyx eyes searched her own for an answer.

"It does not signify." She said bitterly. "It is none of your concern, my lord. Good night." Before she could turn away, gentle hands gripped her in place. She met the lord before her's eyes again.

"It is taking all the restraint I possess, your grace, to ask this as a man of my station should. Did he do this to you?" His face was hard, and body pulled taut. She could feel rage vibrating off of him. She gulped at his words.

"It does not matter what he does to me, he is my husband and your king." She hissed, hoping she could deter his wrath with the threat of death.

"It does not matter who he is, I will tear him limb from bloody limb." He clearly did not seem to care.
