(MxM) The only thing Atticus could ever remember was the enormous shadow his siblings casted over him. In a family of greats, he was the exception. Constant pressure by his parents has left him the black sheep of the family. His jaded outlook on his skills is tested once he finds himself stuck in a pottery class forced onto him by his academic advisor. Ajaw finds his heart shattered after he's abruptly dumped by his girlfriend. His only safe haven is a little pottery club tucked at the far side of campus. Away from everyone else he finds peace in creating small pieces of ceramic art. Tensions are high as these two get to know each other, forced to be roommates during their time in univereiry, will their disdain for each other turn into something else? Started 12/8/24

Indigo Chávez, he's dramatic. That's something you realize about him pretty quickly. Some, well, he thinks most, call him funny. The other percentage call him annoying. He's childish, immature, irrational, and flat-out stupid. Sometimes, when you know too much, it's easier to act like you don't. He's a recovering drug addict, still currently one. It's hard for him to grow up. He lives a normal enough life, unlike most like him. His body gets sold to pervert men and pervert women, sometimes for months, never longer than three, though. His stepmom seems to hate him but not fully. They have a weird relationship. She's the one who sells him. He's curious. He's very stubborn, too. When he makes a decision, he doesn't go back. It takes him a while to realize things. Indigo Chávez is a smart-ass. He likes to talk back, and he never thinks before he speaks. He feels like he's above everyone but never admits it. All the pieces of his story don't seem to fit. Something doesn't make sense. The more you read, the more that makes sense. The book alternates between him, the people in his life, and back in time to his father and his sister's father. In the end, maybe the only ones truly there for you are your siblings

Evelyn and her younger sister move to South Carolina with her Dad, a big change from the LA scenery she was used to. As she adapts to the beach country lifestyle of bikinis, cowboy hats and tanning, she comes across Atticus. The boy every girl wants and talks about, but no one wants him more than Olivia - the girl that rules the school. Although he technically left her for dead, Evelyn can't seem to get him to escape her mind and he can't seem to leave her alone.
