I get put on a rack in the donut store. Hours later the lights turn on and I get moved to the case for display. "Hi what can I get for you?" "Can I get a chocolate sprinkled and a glazed please." It's almost my turn!! Next customer comes in and asks for a glazed donut! I was grabbed but... oh nooo I'm slipping!! I land right on the floor. Ouch! That's gonna leave a mark! Another donut was grabbed. I'm stepped on and kicked under the donut case. It's so dark under here. Two hours, three, 4 hours go by before i'm finally swept up and put in the trash! More and more trash like on me. I'm at the very bottom being squished and it STINKS in here!! I see more donuts and papers and dirt! Later, the trash bag was being taken to the dumpster but there was a whole in the bag. I feel myself slipping out. FREE I'M FREE!!!! It took me 23 minutes to realize, I wasn't free. I sat there for 3 days before a squirrel saw me and started picked me piece by piece. The next day, birds. At least I was useful in some way!

I search for a cup, but don't see one so Will pulls one out from under the machine. What a stupid place to hide the cups. Who's going to see that? Luckily it's stays open until 12 so I decide to pop in and have a hot chocolate and chat with her for a bit. The warm air takes the redness away from my cheeks and fingertips as I step inside. I look up to see my best friend Nellie instantly spot me. "Hey, Hannah. It's nice to see you here." She wraps her arms around me for a hug and I gladly hug her back while sneakily stealing her body heat. "It's nice to see you too, Nellie." I reply as we pull away from the hug.
