1. The marital partners are chosen by parents.
2. There were two representatives from each company. Their desire to merge was borne out of a conversation between the two owners at a wedding.
3. Like an open market where people 'auction themselves' based on factors like their looks, income, assets, education, etc.

(Y/n) Hallie Lee and (Hoon) Saxon Park are two of the victims of that forced and false romance for the benefits of each family's business.
