Lukas thought he had found his true calling in metal music, but he soon realized he had signed up for more than he bargained for. Lukas was a loner who loved metal music more than anything. He had a collection of CDs and posters from his favorite bands, and often visited online forums and chat rooms to connect with other metal fans. He lived in a small town in the Midwest, where he felt misunderstood and out of place. One day, he received a message from a user named DarkLord666, who invited him to join a secret metal society that had access to rare and exclusive metal albums, concerts, and merchandise. He also said they had a special ritual that would grant them the power of the metal gods. Lukas was curious and excited, and decided to meet him at a nearby cemetery at midnight. He didn't know that he was about to unleash a horror that would change his life and the world forever. What Lukas didn't know was that the metal gods were not benevolent, but malevolent. And they had a plan for him.

Destiny. It was a funny thing. I had always thought that I could create my own destiny. But after attending my junior year at Nox Haven, I knew that wasn't possible. My destiny was written two hundred years before my birth, when my ancestor- The Dark Warlock- created a cult of Dark Ones. It was my destiny to rid the world of his mistake- but I didn't know how. That was the funny part, I knew what I had to do but I didn't know how. Nobody wrote that part of the prophecy. I would figure it out though, two of my beloved friends were dead because the Dark Ones. I swore on their graves that no one else would follow. **Book Three in the Nox Haven Series**
