Alas Dose follows the journey of Severino Cole Matias determined to complete the traditional Simbang Gabi in the hopes of making his deepest wish for a happy life come true.

During one of the nightly novenas, he encounters a mysterious and enchanting woman whom he connects with while holding her hands in prayer during the "Ama Namin".

As they engage in heartfelt conversations and grow closer, the woman keeps her identity a secret, promising to reveal it only when the clock strikes midnight on December 25th.
