"Why'd you have to.Make me want you. Why'd you have to.Give me nothin' back? Why'd you have to.
Make me love you?
I said, "I love you".You say nothin' back
Why'd you have to lead me on?Why'd you have to twist the knife?
Walk away and leave me bleedin', bleedin'?
Why'd you whisper in the dark
Just to leave me in the night?
Now your silence has me screamin', screamin'"

Will they be able to survive it all, or will they simply become another Greek Tragedy? Or when, Icarus falls in love with the Sun, for the final time. *✧・゚: *✧・゚: Percy Jackson x FemOC (The Lighting Thief - The Last Olympian) (Book 1 of 3 in the Divine Series) Started: 12/24/2023 Ended: In Progress *✧・゚: *✧・゚: Icaria Kane's body was exhausted. She had pushed herself past her breaking point, and still continued on as if nothing was wrong. The demigod knew if she allowed herself time to take even a moment, her soul would physically crack in two. Now was not the time for weakness, if anything, she had to be stronger. She knew the other girls would mumble about her, but Icaria wouldn't listen to them. She refused to watch someone she loved fall at the hands of Thanatos again. If need be, she would offer herself to him in place. Yet, there was someone who noticed the young girl breaking apart. She could see the bags grow darker, and watched as Icaria began to eat less and less. It was the same someone who had saved Icaria all those years ago. And the goddess refused to watch that someone suffer any longer. The goddess, Artemis, stepped out of her tent in the early morning light. All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.

"I don't know what's gotten into you, but the last thing I want is to find her dead," she muttered, "Even Clarisse would be sure of that about me. It almost feels like you don't know me at all." "Exactly," he turned to look at her, "I actually don't know you. Not as much as Harris, who by the way couldn't care less to talk to Chiron about Annabeth." (๑•́ ₃ •̀๑) Things were getting normal. Y/N Y/L/N is finally trying to get used to these feelings she kept in for Percy. While they started meeting up sometimes and hanging out, two new members joined them - one, being Thalia and the other being Harris. She felt the change in the atmosphere whenever he joined. Well, to be specific when he was around the one she fell in love with. Although, things are soon about to get worse. An ancient monster has arisen - one rumored to be so powerful it could destroy Olympus - and Artemis, the only goddess who might know how to track it, is missing. Now Percy and his friends, along with the Hunters of Artemis, have only a week to find the kidnapped goddess and solve the mystery of the monster she was hunting. Percy is beginning to get confused about the way he feels whenever he met Harris. Y/N on the other hand receives a bolt out of the blue when she faces the truth her friends have been hiding from her. Along the way, they must face their most dangerous challenge yet: the chilling prophecy of the titan's curse. (๑•́ ₃ •̀๑) Book Cover Art by Shan Hitori (@Prithvi_Hitori) on Twitter.

*COMPLETED-25K+ WORDS* Bella Cooper is defiant and strong, even when her modernized finishing school for girls tries to rip her opinionated personality from her. However, dealing with prissy rich girls and 'feminine manners' are the least of her worries. Recently, she's come face to face with crazy weird monsters and learned about some new Greek family that has some on-going drama which, unfortunately, she is now part of. Luckily, Camp Half-Blood is a place where kids can learn about their new powers and abilities, and explore their history safely. Sounds perfect, and the only thing Bella needs is to be a demi-god! Well, she doesn't meet that criterion either. Now she's only got three days to fix her broken family, learn how to have normal teenage relationships, and tell the truth about her Greek Underworld parent. Let's hope that's enough time. (HEADS UP: this was entirely for fun, please keep that in mind! This is a fanfiction set in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians world created by Rick Riordan. It doesn't include any lore from Trials of Apollo or Heros of Olympus. I do not claim to own any of the characters created by Rick Riordan, including Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, or Nico di Angelo. I have taken creative license regarding the facts about the Greek mythological creatures mentioned, so don't take them for fact! The same can be said for my use of witchcraft. Not all my information is accurate as I used it for story-telling purposes.
