A group of friends register to take part in the Kalos Pokémon League. On their journey, they'll learn how difficult the road to success can be, and what a terrible conspiracy is lurking in their region. With their ambitions challenged and their lives threatened, they'll need to pull together and outdo each other to achieve their goal.
The story features material from the video game, anime and manga. But there will also be a lot of new stuff, making this adventure take place in its own unique universe. Some of the license's characters will undergo different development, while others will remain true to familiar territory. Several serious topics will be tackled (but not too violently).

Pokémon vs. Robots
In the Danunda region, Klinklang Enterprises are starting to roll out battle robots - automatons that look like Pokémon and fight like Pokémon, but without any training required. Dylan and his friends Aiden and Mallory set off on a Pokémon journey to collect eight badges and challenge the Pokémon League, but there is stiff competition as the number of robot battlers rises, and the sheer power of their robots begins to eclipse what a Pokémon can muster. Not only that, but a mysterious organisation working under Klinklang Enterprises known as Team Cyborg have been hunting legendary Pokémon across the region. Can Dylan and his friends stay ahead of their robotic competitors and prove the power of Pokémon over robots? -------------------- - Pokémon is a franchise owned by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. This is a fan-fiction inspired by content from generations 1-9. - It is based in the Danunda region, which is a region of my own imagining loosely based on Australia. Despite it being an original region, there are no "fakemon" introduced aside from the robots, though most robots are directly based on a specific Pokémon species anyway. Rated R Includes the following: Bad language, violence, murder, blood, drugs, black market, gangs, etc. Since the very beginning, Serena and I were the best of friends and adored one another. We both would do anything for each other. A divorce between our parents tear us apart, having Serena leave to Kalos while I stayed behind to take care of our dad in Sinnoh Years later, I grew up in a bad environment during my teenage years, where I learned how to toughen up and become aggressive towards anyone. A simple death glare was enough to make anyone cower. The reason why I couldn't leave Sinnoh was a secret I didn't want to share with anyone, but when I stopped feeling Serena's aura, I knew something was wrong and had to head to Kalos, where I hoped to not only find my perhaps kidnapped sister, but find myself in the journey up ahead and hope I can at least be the normal person I wish I can be When arriving to Kalos, I wanted to hide my appearance as much as possible. There was a certain someone I couldn't hide anything from, from how easily he can read me... he's a mysterious character and a friend of Serena. Meeting him, there was something I felt in me that I normally never feel around anyone else. Soon thing take a turn for the worse, which leads to Ash rediscovering something about himself, and Serena discovering something new. Both leave without a trace to train, leaving their positions to their friends closest to them in terms of skill, with each of them only knowing of their existence, but not even their locations. What does it mean when a new trainer named Night becomes the champion? In a few years, trouble arises at the score tournament, and will they have to reveal their identities to each other?
