Earth has fallen. Humanity has been defeated. At the hands of the genocidal xeno, humanity has been unmade. The aliens left none alive. They massacred each and every last one that bear the blood of man. Their fleets left a trail of blood and destruction behind them. their armies, numbered in the trillions, were no match for even the strongest weapons of man. And yet, even as the planet-wide city of Earth burned and the entire human population massacred at the trails of the xeno gunfire. There were still survivors. The 3rd fleet, having been late for the final battle, was forced to flee. The already damaged fleet, along with the refugees on board, had engaged their FTL drives and escaped from the xeno's grasped. they had slipped away from total annihilation and arrived somewhere foreign. Have you ever had a dream where you find yourself in an alien landscape with two humanoid monsters staring at you? Me neither. Unfortunately, it happened to me in real life.
