The story is set in Malaka and the 'time travel' is a a major part of the plot. The second biggest element is 'a country'. The country in this novel is Malaysia, but the political parties, elections, situations, the debates etc can be applied to any country.

The novel revolves around a political leader Fateh and a con artist Talia Murad. Over a period of twenty episodes, the reader learns about the characters, their lives, their pains and fears, their strenghts and skills. Readers also learn how they overcome the obstacles in life.

The novel, for me, is not just a piece of fiction. It tells you, through a very gripping story, to become a strong person.

It teaches us to have faith in destiny and the almighty.

It teaches us to admit our mistakes and move on.

It teaches us to believe in ourselves. Whatever we know, will work for us, even if it seems little and insignificant.

It teaches us to repent our sins whenever we realize our mistakes.

It teaches us that sticking to the righteous path is much easier than we think it to be.

It teaches us about friendship.

And, it is one hell of a love story.

Janat Kay Pattey was written by our beloved writer Nimra Ahmed. For the first time I have read such kind of a novel which covered many genres. It was a bunch of mystery, suspense, love, teachings, thrill and exotic traveling spots. I just Fall in Love with this story and characters. The amazing and magnificent portrayal of Turkey would actually make you add this country to your tourism list. The topic remains as much interesting for readers as from its 1st episode to its end. The title of the novel is very authentic related to its story. The story is based on two main characters Haya Suleman and Jehan Sikandar. One side of the story revolves around the topic of "Hijaab" and how one verse of Quran could change Haya's life forever. The transformation of a modern girl (Haya) to a Naqabi girl was the main essence of this novel. The Other side of the story depicts the life of a spy guy jehan Sikandar and his duty's severe and harsh demands. Mr. Suleman has two children, Haya (modern Girl) and Rohail. Rohail has been studied in U.S and Haya has been selected for a scholarship from the European union and she leaves for Turkey for about five months. The main reason of Haya to apply for this scholarship is jehan because they both were bond in childhood nikah, which was forgotten. It shows that modernism is not something to be reliable. It is a temporary phase that must come to an end. And what will long lasting, is our faith, our deeds and our repentance. On the other hand after reading Haya's character, Niqabi Girl has boosted their confidence level to a higher degree. Coz If people can be so confident when they are wrong, why cant the hijaabi girls, be proud and confident of their face-covering! And I am thankful to Nimra Ahmed who wrote such a unforgettable novel.

The book is a rollercoaster ride, and at some chapter you will find male character too good or too bad. 3. The female character is kind of stubborn but forgiving and kind. 4. There is mature scenes in book, so If you are below 18 or uncomfortable with the adult content, do not bother to go ahead. 5. The book doesn't revolve around lead characters only, I have tried to involve each and every character of this book till a certain limit. 6. May be few things frustrate you or make you angry, But I request you all to be polite and think before you make any comment because being a person I have feelings that get hurt easily and I am kind off bitchy person so I retort back rudely, so please place your opinion politely, if you feel that there is too much drama and all just quit reading, do not bother to leave violent and harsh comments. 7. Okay with all this? Go ahead,
