Elijah is the youngest teacher on campus and, surprisingly, the most respected. Though many students feel he is a pain in the ass, his teaching methods prove to be successful with high test scores across the board. This 24 year old holds his career close to him as his family members do not support his career choice. Elijah comes from a clean background and a family of wealth, this never kept him close to home, Elijah likes it better alone. He always has. This remains one of the few things that remain unchanged about him, unlike his unnatural jet black hair, at least that's the color at the moment. He has a tendency to dye his hair every time he undergoes a 'crisis'. Another thing for his parents to point out at their meaningless reunions and dinners, along with his 'immaturity'. Maybe teaching was the wrong career path for him... Never mind that, it's all of the past.
Hannah on the other hand doesn't come from money, her father oftentimes gambled himself into debt leaving Hannah to grow up at an earlier age. Hannah is in her last year of highschool with straight A's and scholarships for 2 different colleges. Hannah is described as 'weird' by others around her but what Elijah didn't know was that this 'weird' girl would change his perspective of the world and life itself.
